Art and Health Roundtable & Reception
Do the Arts have a role in improving the health and wellbeing of Africans?
The Art and Health Roundtable is an occasion to highlight and calibrate the ways in which art has begun to improve health outcomes. There is emerging evidence of the value of Arts in advancing people’s health and wellbeing, from occupational therapy in mental health to health awareness and public health intervention being depicted and communicated through the arts. The Roundtable will explore and discuss the role and potential opportunities that Nigeria and Africa can benefit from its rich artistic capital.
