The showpiece of the African Artists’ Foundation will be a fine arts gallery in Lagos. In partnership with a select group of major corporate and foundation sponsors, the AAF will create a lasting artistic legacy in Lagos. The AAF will work with museums and galleries worldwide to build the nation’s first purpose-built gallery in Nigeria. This venue, in the largest city on the African continent, will provide a sense of place for the works of great African artists from throughout Africa. Exhibits of the finest African artists' work will be seen side by side with rotating international exhibits and ongoing exchanges with collaborating museums and galleries worldwide.

The goal of the AAF Fine Arts Gallery will be to find its place among the world’s premier fine arts museums, a unique and evolving tribute to the strength and vitality of African art past and present.
