OBANOR EMEKE was born in Agbor in Delta State,he hails from Obior, Aniocha L.G.A oF Delta State.He attended Ezechima Grammar School, Obior and Gbenoba Grammar School, Agbor for his secondary school. He attended University of Calabar, where he read Theatre Arts.

As a child he loved arts,but picked interest in photography. After graduating, his passion for photography grew and he started using the still camera to observe, study and record God’ complex creation.

He has embarked on photo reportage projects for NGOs and other organisation on social, cultural and political issues. Presently he is actively involved in photo reportage projects on the Nature and Beauty of the Niger Delta Slum, Womanhood in Nigeria, Spiritualism in Africa and other issues.
